Okay, this is the article I wrote for the paper! It’s not done yet, and any suggestions you have to make it better would be GREATLY appreciated because it’s really hard for me to write without including personal details like I did in the ones for ap and teenink. My writers block is awful, so yes help pleasee. But this is what I have so far:

Everybody in life has a story to tell. They each have their own demons to fight their own ghosts to chase, and their own secrets to hide. And these demons, these ghosts, these secrets- they can become overwhelming. They can eat at us, wearing away at what little resolve we have. Through everything, however, there are certain things that keep us going. For some of us it’s friends, for others it’s family, and in many cases, it’s music.

Nobody understands the power of music better than Behind The Headphones. At BTH, they don’t want anyone to have to hide behind their secrets, their demons, their ghosts anymore. They know and understand music’s ability to alter, change, and ultimately save lives, and they want to share that with people, and have them share back. They want to help people discover the music that could help them pull through their roughest hours, that could help them keep their heads above water, even if just for a little while. Ultimately, BTH tries to spread the message of hope.

Behind The Headphones is more than just that, though. BTH is for anyone with a love for music. It’s for anyone who has ever sang along to the radio, anyone who has played the notes to their favorite songs. That’s the foundation Behind The Headphones was built on, and that’s what keeps it running.
