This is sort of actually some sort of thank you thing.
It goes out to my mom,
for letting me express myself through my music.
She lets me have my own style, and she doesn’t know how much I appreciate that.
I want to thank her for letting me sing as loud as I want throughout the house.
For letting me go to the concerts I want to,
Or staying up late on their live chats.
I want to thank her for buying me most of my band shirts.
And for taking my pictures with the members.
I really just want to thank her for being so rad.
Because, the fact that she gives me those freedoms really changes me as a person.
It makes me so proud and so glad I have such a wonderful mother.
She lets me dress the way I want,
Speak my mind,
And she even lets me tell her about bands even if she really doesn’t remember all of their names or what they do.
She cares.
And she listens.
So thank you mom,
Thanks for absolutely everything.
